How to choose an AI digital signage display

Start with the environment. Indoor displays for lobbies, showrooms, restaurants and offices use 350–500 nit panels and a slim steel body. Outdoor displays for storefronts, parking, campuses and transit use 1,000–3,000 nit panels inside a weatherproof enclosure with heating, cooling and a wider operating temperature range. Put an indoor screen behind glass in direct sun and the content washes out; put an outdoor screen indoors and you pay for brightness you never use.

Pick the form factor next. Freestanding kiosks work where you cannot drill into walls or need to move the screen. Wall-mounted displays save floor space and suit menu boards, waiting rooms and hallways. Portable posters roll between events. Window-facing displays are built to be read through glass from the street. Double-sided posters show content in two directions at once.

Then decide on touch. Touch models turn the screen into a self-service kiosk, directory or whiteboard. Non-touch models cost less and cover advertising, menus, dashboards and welcome screens. All models come in the same core sizes, so the choice does not limit the size.

AI camera and audience analytics built into every display

Each AI digital signage display in this catalog ships with a Raspberry Pi 5 player, a 26 TOPS AI accelerator and a Sony IMX415 camera inside the enclosure. The camera does not record video. It counts viewers, measures attention and dwell time, estimates age and gender groups, and reports the numbers to the digital signage analytics dashboard in AIScreen. AI triggers switch the playlist automatically based on who is in front of the screen, so a coffee promo runs for the morning crowd and a dinner menu for the evening one.

Questions? Answers.

What is an AI digital signage display?

An AI digital signage display is a commercial screen with the media player and an AI camera built into the enclosure. AIScreen models run on a Raspberry Pi 5 with a 26 TOPS AI accelerator and a Sony IMX415 camera, so the same unit that plays your content also measures who stopped to watch it: attention, dwell time and audience demographics. You manage everything from the AIScreen platform in the cloud.

Do I need a separate media player for these displays?

No. Every display in this catalog ships with the player installed and configured. You plug in power and network, sign in to AIScreen, and the screen appears in your account. If you already own TVs or professional displays, you can run AIScreen on them instead: see the list of supported screens.

What is the difference between indoor and outdoor digital signage displays?

Brightness and protection. Indoor models use 350–500 nit panels in a galvanized steel body. Outdoor models use 1,000–3,000 nit high-brightness panels, a weatherproof enclosure with heating and cooling, and a wider operating temperature range, so the content stays readable in direct sunlight and rain.

Which screen sizes are available?

Sizes range from 21.5″ self-service kiosks and 32″ portable posters to 49″/50″, 55″ and 65″ freestanding and wall-mounted displays. Interactive touch whiteboards go up to 98″. Each product page lists the sizes and the price for each size.

Should I choose a touch or a non-touch display?

Choose touch when people need to interact: wayfinding, self-service ordering, directories, whiteboards in classrooms and meeting rooms. Choose non-touch when the screen only shows content: menu boards, advertising, lobby and window displays. Touch models cost more and are available in the same sizes.

What is included in the price?

The display with the built-in player and AI camera, air freight, duties and customs clearance, and one year of technical support with replacement parts shipped at our cost.
