How to Set Up Jira Dashboard in AIScreen

Last update: February 12, 2026

Introduction

AIScreen’s Dashboards feature allows you to display your Jira dashboards automatically on digital screens by recording the login and navigation steps. This is perfect for showing project progress, sprint overviews, or ticket status in real time across office displays or team spaces — without needing to log in manually.

Currently, AIScreen supports two-factor authentication (2FA) via Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator. If your Jira account uses another 2FA method, we recommend switching to a supported one to ensure compatibility with our system. For assistance, contact our support team.

Supported 2FA methods for dashboards:

Step 1: Register and Log In

1.1 Register on Jira and AIScreen

  • Go to jira.atlassian.com and create a Jira account (or log in if you already have one).
  • Then, visit AIScreen.io and sign up to access the Dashboards feature.

1.2 Log In to AIScreen

  • Use your AIScreen email and password to log in to the admin panel.

Step 2: Add the Jira Dashboard App from the AIScreen App Store

2.1 Open the App Store

  • Inside your AIScreen dashboard, go to the Apps section and click Open App Store.

2.2 Find the Jira App

  • Search for Jira using the search bar.
  • Click the Jira app from the results to open its setup page.

2.3 Launch the Jira App

  • Click Go to App to begin configuration. You’ll now proceed with login and recording.

Step 3: Connect and Configure Jira

3.1 Paste the Jira URL

  • Open the Jira dashboard or board you want to display.
  • Copy its full URL and paste it into the Write URL field in the AIScreen app.
  • A login window will appear on the right side — this is the embedded browser used to record your actions.

Note: If two-factor authentication is enabled, paste your Google or Microsoft Authenticator secret key into the 2FA field before beginning the recording.

3.2 Start Recording

  • Click Start Recording to begin the automation process.
  • In the embedded window, enter your Jira credentials and complete the login process.

3.3 Stop Recording and Check

  • Once you reach the Jira dashboard or board you want displayed, click Stop Recording.
  • AIScreen will show a list of recorded actions and a preview of the dashboard.
  • Confirm that the display looks correct.
  • Set a Refresh rate (sec) — e.g., 60 seconds — so AIScreen checks and maintains your session.

Step 4: Name and Finish

  • At the top of the screen, give your configuration a name such as Jira Sprint Overview or Project Status Dashboard.
  • Click Finish to save your settings.
  • AIScreen will now automatically log in and load your selected Jira view every time the screen is powered on.

Conclusion

  • You’ve now set up your Jira Dashboard in AIScreen. With automatic login, navigation, and real-time display, your team can stay updated without needing to open Jira manually.
  • If you have questions about the setup or need help with 2FA or login steps, reach out to our support team at hello@aiscreen.io — we’re here to help.
