How To Set Up Power BI On Digital Signage

Step 1: Open Your Required Report in Microsoft Power BI

1.1. Navigate to Your Power BI Workspace:

• Open the Power BI application and go to the workspace where your report is saved.

• Locate the report you’d like to embed (e.g., “Revenue Opportunities”) and click Open.

1.2. Access Power BI Microsoft Account Embed Options

• Once the report is open, go to the top menu and click File.
  
• From the dropdown menu, select Embed report.
  
• A sub-menu will appear; choose Website or portal.

1.3. Copy the Link:

• Highlight the secure embed link and click Copy.

Step 2: Register and Login for Microsoft Power Bi Dashboard for Digital Signage

2.1. Registration

• Go to AIScreen and create an account following the instructions.

2.2. Login to your account

• Enter your email and password on the login page and click Log in.

Step 3: Add the Microsoft Power BI from AIScreen App Store

3.1. Opening the App Store for Power BI Dashboard

• Once logged in, select the Apps section from the left menu.
  
• In the upper right corner, click the Open App Store button to open the app catalog.

3.2 Find the Power BI Software

• In the search bar, type “Power BI“.

• Select the Power BI app from the list of available ones.

3.3. Opening the Microsoft Power BI App

• Click on the Power BI application icon.
  
• In the window that appears, select Go to App.

Step 4: Embed the Power BI Account Code into AIScreen

4.1. Paste the Embed Code:

• Locate the “Embed Code” section within the Power BI widget in AIScreen.
  
• Paste the URL or iframe code copied earlier.

4.2. Name and Save

• Assign a Name: Enter a clear and descriptive name that reflects the purpose or content of the screen (e.g., “Social Wall Display,” “Main Lobby Screen,” or “Weekly Dashboard”).
  
• Click “Save” to apply changes and deploy the wall on your screen.
