Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to get started with using AIScreen.
1. Select your hardware
AIScreen runs on most consumer hardware, delivering a convenient and flexible solution to display digital signage. We support a handful of general media dongle devices, Android televisions, tablets, and more.

2. Install the AIScreen app on Your device
Fire TV / Amazon TV:
- Turn on your Firestick and go to the home screen.
- Navigate to the search icon (magnifying glass) on the top left corner of the screen and click on it.
- Type in “AIScreen” using the on-screen keyboard and hit the search button.
- When the search results appear, select the “AIScreen Digital Signage Player” app.
- On the next screen, click on the “Download” or “Get” button to start the installation process.
- Wait for the app to download and install on your Firestick.
- Once the installation is complete, go to the home screen and navigate to “Your Apps & Channels” or “Your Apps & Games.”
- Scroll down to find the “AIScreen Signage Player” app and click on it.
Android:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- In the search bar at the top of the screen, type “AIScreen Player” and hit the search button.
- When the search results appear, select the “AIScreen Signage Player” app.
- On the next screen, click on the “Install” button to start the installation process.
- Wait for the app to download and install on your Android device.
- Once the installation is complete, open the app.
Samsung TV / Tizen:
- Open the Apps on your Samsung TV device.
- Open the search bar at the top right of the screen, and type “AIScreen Player”.
- When the search results appear, select the “AIScreen Digital Signage Player” app.
- On the next screen, click on the “Install” button to start the installation process.
- Wait for the app to download and install on your device.
- Once the installation is complete, open the app.
LG TV / WebOS:
- Since LG does not support autorun of the application and this can be extremely inconvenient, we recommend using the combination of LG + Fire stick to achieve the best result.
Windows/Mac OS/Linux/Chrome OS – Chrome:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- Go to the online version of our player https://player.aiscreen.io/
- At the top right of the address bar, click Install .
- Follow the onscreen instructions to install the AIScreen DIgital Signage Player.
Ipad IOS/Mac OS – Safari:
- On your device, open Safari.
- Go to the online version of our player https://player.aiscreen.io/
- To the right of the search bar, tap Share
and then Add to Home Screen . - Then click Add.
Browser (For all platforms that have a browser. Roku/Web-OS/Other):
- Go to the online version of our player https://player.aiscreen.io/
3. Pair screens to your account
After installing the AiScreen app on your device, the next step is to pair a screen to your account at manager.aiscreen.io using the pairing code on your screen.
3.1. Click on “Screens” in the left-hand navigation of your AIScreen account.
3.2. Once you’re inside, hit the “Add” button:
3.3. Enter the screen pairing code that is on your television screen while viewing the AiScreen app:
3.4. Enter the screen name and select orientation:
3.5. You’ll see your new screen turn up in the list of screens.
4. Upload your content
After adding your screen, get started using AIScreen.
4.1. Start by uploading your content. In the left-hand sidebar, you’ll see the “Media” repository. Head over there, then hit upload or drop your file:
4.2. After you upload your content, it may be helpful to give the content a human-friendly name, so you can easily find the content you need. To change the name on the content, simply click on the pencil icon to the right of the name, and enter the new name.
5. Create playlists
Afterward, you have the option to curate a playlist and add various pieces of content to it.
5.1. Press ‘Create playlist’:
5.2. Next, give your playlist a name by clicking on the name, and typing in a name:
You can also choose the color of your playlist if you want, by pressing the ‘playlist color’ button. You can use different colors to help organize your playlists, or just add some personality to your playlists.
5.3. Drag and drop the content or app from the right-hand content list to the playlist.
5.4. If you want to re-order the things in your playlist, simply grab it and drag it up or down.
5.5. You can also split the screen into several broadcast zones and place separate content in each zone: Coming soon!
You have successfully created your playlist.
6. Create schedules
You have the option to also create a schedule to set specific times/days/months that you want your playlists to run.
6.1. Hit the Create New Schedule button, and then click on the name above the schedule to give it a name:
6.2. To create a schedule block offtime, click and hold the mouse button on the schedule, where you want the scheduled playlist to start, say 6 am on “work days”. Drag the mouse until the end point of your schedule, let’s say 12 am:

6.3. Now hit the little + button, and you’ll be able to pick the playlist you want to assign to this schedule block:
6.4. Here, you’ll also be able to fine-adjust the playlist that’s playing. Hit save, and you’ll see that your playlist has been scheduled in:
Please note, unless you have a date limit set: The schedules you create will automatically run on a recurring basis. For example, if you create a schedule for Monday’s, this schedule will run every Monday moving forward if set to a screen. Though, you can interchange or update the content in a playlist on anytime that is set to run on a schedule, or change the timing of your schedules created as well.
6.5. Add screens for which this schedule will work.
