Step 1: Register and Login Google Slides for Digital Signage Software
Before using the “Google Slides” app, make sure you have an AIScreen account. If you don’t have an account, register. If you are already registered, log in.
1.1. Registration
- Go to AIScreen and create an account following the instructions.
1.2. Login to your account
- Enter your email and password on the login page and click Log in.
Step 2: Publish and Embed Your Slides Digital Signage Presentation
2.1. Open your presentation in Google Slides
- Go to Google Slides and open the presentation you want to embed in AIScreen.
1.2. Publish the google slideshow presentation for web access
- In the “File” tab, select “Share”, then click “Publish to web”
2.3. Create the google slides embed URL and copy it.
- Create the public link, click “Publish”, and then copy this link for use in AIScreen.
Step 3: Include the Google Slide App to AIScreen
3.1. Opening the App Store
- Once logged in, select the Apps section from the left menu.
- In the upper right corner, click the Open App Store button to open the app catalog.
3.2. Find and select the Google Slides app
- In the search box, type “Slides” and select the Google Slides app from the search results.
3.3. Go to the app’s settings
- Once the modal window opens, click “Go to App” to continue with the integration.
3.4. Enable Auto Slide Transitions (Autoplay)
To ensure your slides automatically switch on the screen, you need to enable autoplay in the Google Slides app settings inside AIScreen.
After pasting the embed link:
- Turn on the Autoplay option.
- Set the desired slide duration (for example, 5 seconds).
- Enable Loop if you want the presentation to restart automatically after the last slide.
- Click Save to apply the settings.
Once enabled, your slides will automatically transition based on the selected timing without requiring any manual interaction.
3.5. Paste the link and save
- Paste the copied embed link into the corresponding field. Enter a name for the app in the “Instance Name” field and click “Save”.
