Step 1: Registration and Login
Before using the Checkmate App, you need to complete the following registrations:
1.1. Registration
- Register with AIScreen: Visit AIScreen Registration to create an account. If you’re already registered, simply log in.

- Register with Checkmate: Visit Checkmate Registration and complete your account setup if you haven’t already. If you already have an account, proceed to the next step.
- After registration, ensure your restaurant menu is uploaded to the Checkmate POS System. If this step is complete, skip ahead.

1.2. Find the Checkmate App in the Store
- Log in to your AIScreen account and navigate to the Apps section.

Step 2: Add the Checkmate App from AIScreen App Store
2.1. Opening the App Store
- Once logged in, select the Apps section from the left menu.
- In the upper right corner, click the Open App Store button to open the app catalog.


2.2. Searching for the Checkmate App
- Use the search bar in the App Store.

- Select the app when it appears in the search results.
- Click on the Checkmate app icon.

2.3. Opening the Checkmate App
- In the popup window, select Go to App.

Step 3: Setting Up the Checkmate App
3.1. Login to Checkmate

- A login window will appear.
- Enter your Checkmate credentials (email and password) and click Sign In.

3.2. Selecting a Location for the Menu
- In the Displayed menu field, choose the location where your menu will appear.
- Selected locations will automatically sync in the app

3.3. Title Settings, Screen Type, and Saving
- Enter the project name.

- Select the screen orientation (horizontal or vertical).

- Save your settings.

3.4. Menu Setup
- Here, you can upload and set up your menu to display on screens.
- In the Sections visibility field, specify which menu categories should display.

Step 4: Choosing a Theme and Customizing Appearance
4.1. Themes and Show Food Images
- In the Theme section, select a theme that suits your brand.

4.2. Number of Columns
- In the Number of columns field, select how many menu categories will be displayed on the screen at the same time.
- Example: Choose 2 columns for side-by-side categories or 4 columns for a grid layout.
- Adjust based on your screen size and preferred display style.

4.3. Align Title Categories
- The Align Title Categories feature allows you to control the alignment of category titles on the screen.
- Enabled (On): Aligns all category titles to the center of their respective columns.
- Disabled (Off): Aligns category titles to the left of their respective columns.
- Enabled (On): Aligns all category titles to the center of their respective columns.

4.4. Show Food Images
- Use the Show food images toggle to display or hide food images.

4.5. Adjusting Menu Item Visibility
- Use the Fields visibility setting to hide or show:
- Item name
- Descriptions
- Prices.
- Item name

4.6. Display Style for Out of Stock Items
- In the Out of stock items field, choose how unavailable items should appear (e.g., strikethrough or hidden).

4.7. Customizing Background Image and Opacity
- The Background Image and Opacity Settings allow you to personalize your menu display with custom visuals for enhanced branding.
- Navigate to the Background Image field.

- The slider ranges from 0% (fully transparent) to 100% (fully opaque). Adjust as necessary to maintain readability of the menu content while showcasing the image.

4.8. Add Additional Images
- In the Side image field, upload the image you want to display.

- Ensure the image resolution matches the recommended settings for optimal display.

- Choose its placement (top, right, bottom, or left).

4.9. Set Page Switching Time
- In the Page Switching Time field, set the interval (in seconds) for switching to the next menu page.

- Use the Stop page switching toggle to disable automatic page switching.

Step 5: Customize Fonts and Colors
5.1. Customize Fonts
- In the Fonts section, select the style and size for:
- Group titles.
- Descriptions.
- Prices.
- Item names.
- Group titles.

5.2. Customize Colors
- In the Colors section, adjust:
- Text colors.
- Background colors.
- Transparency levels.
- Text colors.
