This guide will help you set up and use the Dashboards feature with the AIScreen Recorder extension. The Dashboards feature allows you to automatically update your dashboards in real-time without requiring re-logins, even after 24 hours. Let’s get started!
Introduction
The Dashboards feature automatically replays recorded steps (such as logging into an account and navigating to a dashboard) at a specified frequency. This is useful for constantly displaying relevant information.
We currently support two-factor authentication (2FA) via Google and Microsoft Authenticators for the Dashboards feature. We are actively working to expand support for additional 2FA providers. If your organization uses two-factor authentication (2FA) to access dashboards and needs to switch to a different provider, please contact us (see contact information at the bottom) with the dashboard tool and 2FA provider you are currently using.
The supported 2FA setups for Dashboards are listed below, with links to our setup guides:
Step 1: Go to the Dashboards section in AIScreen Manager
- What to do: Log in to your AIScreen Manager account.

- Next: Go to the Live URLs section on the left and select the Dashboards block. Create a new dashboard or open an existing one.

Here you will set up URLs and record steps.
Step 2: Enter the Dashboard URL
- In the dashboard settings, locate the “Write URL” field and paste the pre-copied URL of the dashboard you want to display.

Step 3: Start Recording Steps
- Click “Start recording” to begin capturing the steps that will be repeated automatically when the system logs you out.

Step 4: Perform Login Steps
- Follow the login process for your desired dashboard, including entering your credentials.

Step 5: Stop Recording and Add 2FA Key (if applicable)
- Once you reach your dashboard, click “Stop recording.”

- If two-step verification is enabled, paste the authenticator key (Google or Microsoft) into the key field that appears in the recorded steps.

Step 6: Save and start broadcasting
- then do: Give your dashboard a name and click Finish to save.

- Next: You can now broadcast your dashboard to the screen. The extension will automatically repeat the authorization steps and broadcast the dashboard in real time.

Advantage: The dashboard will remain relevant even after 24 hours without re-logging in.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Steps not replaying: Ensure all login actions, including 2FA, were recorded.
- URL not loading: Verify the URL is correct in Step 2.
