Last update: October 21, 2025

Setting up digital signage on an LG webOS Signage display is quick and efficient when using the correct configuration method. This guide walks you through installing the AIScreen IPK app using EZ Settings and SI Server Settings, while ensuring compatibility with your display’s firmware version, network setup (LAN or Wi-Fi), and media player configuration.

    • Press the Setup button on your remote control
    • Or navigate to Settings and press OK
  2. Access EZ Settings
    • Select EZ Settings
    • Choose SI Server Settings
  3. Configure SI Server Settings
    • Turn Fully Qualified Domain Name ON
    • Enter the following URL using your remote or on-screen keyboard: https://platforms.aiscreen.io/webos/signage-app.ipk

Post-Installation

After rebooting, the AIScreen Digital Signage Player should appear in the display’s home menu as webOS-client.

Once launched, you can:

  • Register the screen using the activation code displayed.
  • Automatically sync scheduled content.
  • Manage and update media remotely through the AIScreen platform.

System Requirements

  • Supported Firmware: webOS 4.0 and later
  • Network: Wired LAN or Wi-Fi with stable internet access
  • Permissions: Ensure the display can reach external URLs (firewall must allow HTTPS)

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If the IPK app does not install:
    • Double-check the URL and network connectivity.
    • Ensure Application Type is set to IPK, not ZIP.
  • If updates fail:
    • Confirm Local Application Upgrade is set to Remote.
  • For advanced diagnostics, use the webOS log viewer or consult AIScreen support.
