Introduction
The Dashboards feature allows AIScreen to automatically replay recorded actions such as logging into an account and navigating to a specific dashboard page. This ensures your screens always display up-to-date project information—perfect for teams using Trello for task and workflow management.
AIScreen currently supports two-factor authentication (2FA) via Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator. We’re actively working on expanding support for additional providers. If your Trello account uses a different 2FA method and you’d like assistance switching to a supported one, please contact our team (see the contact information below).
Supported 2FA methods for dashboards:
Step 1: Register and Log In
1.1 Register on Trello and AIScreen
- Go to trello.com and create a Trello account if you don’t already have one.
- Then, go to AIScreen.io and sign up to create your AIScreen dashboard environment.
1.2 Log In to AIScreen
- Use your email and password to log in to your AIScreen admin panel.
Step 2: Add the Trello Dashboard App from the AIScreen App Store
2.1 Open the App Store
- Once you’re logged in, navigate to the Apps section in your AIScreen dashboard.
- Click Open App Store to view available integrations.
2.2 Find the Trello App
- Search for Trello using the search bar.
- Click the Trello app to open its page.
2.3 Launch the Trello App
- Click Go to App to begin configuration.
- You’ll now proceed with login and screen recording.
Step 3: Connect and Configure Trello
3.1 Paste the Trello URL
- In the dashboard settings, locate the Write URL field and paste the link to the Trello board or view you want displayed on screen.
- A login window will appear on the right side of the screen — this is an embedded browser inside the app.
Note: If you have two-step verification enabled, paste the authentication key (from Google or Microsoft Authenticator) into the 2FA field before recording.
3.2 Start Recording
- Click Start Recording before beginning the login process.
- Enter your Trello login credentials in the embedded browser and proceed as you normally would.
3.3 Stop Recording and Check
- Once you’ve reached the board or list view you want to display, click Stop Recording.
- A preview of the recorded steps will appear.
- Make sure the Trello board loads correctly in the preview.
- Set the Refresh rate (sec) to define how often the system should verify that the page is open (e.g., every 50 seconds).
Step 4: Name and Finish
- At the top of the setup screen, enter a clear name for this configuration (e.g., Trello Dashboard).
- Click Finish to save your setup.
- From now on, AIScreen will automatically log in and navigate to your selected Trello board every time the screen restarts—ensuring a seamless, always-on display.
Conclusion
- You’ve successfully set up your Trello Dashboard in AIScreen using the built-in screen recorder. With automatic login and refresh functionality, your team will always see up-to-date project boards without lifting a finger.
